Alexandra Amuche Sandra Asogwa, popularly known as Alex Unusual, was born on February 15, 1996, in Enugu State, Nigeria. She hails from Nsukka in Enugu State and is the eldest of three siblings. Alex began her education in Enugu but later moved to Lagos with her family in 2001. She completed her primary education at Aunty Lizzy International School, Lagos, in 2006. For her secondary education, she attended Federal Government College, Enugu, where she excelled not only academically but also in sports, particularly in track and field events such as relays.
After completing her secondary education, Alex pursued her passion for filmmaking and content creation by enrolling at the New York Film Academy, where she honed her directing skills and creativity.
Career
Alexandra Asogwa’s journey into the entertainment industry started at a tender age when she appeared as a 6-month-old child model in a Nestle baby food campaign in 1996. In 2016, she participated in and won the Miss Eastern Nigeria beauty pageant. Her captivating presence and charisma soon caught the attention of the Nigerian entertainment scene.
