Isa El-Buba was born on January 1st in the early nineteen sixties at what was then the Benue-Plateau General Hospital, Jos (now referred to as Jos University Teaching Hospital, JUTH). Despite health challenges as an infant, he miraculously recovered. His father, Baba Sadiq Buba, prophetically named him “Isa,” which means “Jesus Christ” in Arabic, signifying his unique destiny. Raised in a disciplined household due to his father’s military background, Isa’s birthplace and year were divinely orchestrated, with his life later triggering a spiritual resurgence in Jos, Plateau.

In 1982, Isa El-Buba’s life took a dramatic turn when he watched a Christian film titled “Burning Hell.” This experience led to a profound encounter with Jesus, his salvation, and a commitment to his divine purpose. He underwent rigorous training in desert and jungle settings, even as his life was threatened by various Islamic groups. Despite these challenges, he remained steadfast in his newfound faith, engaging in fasting, prayer, and farming to support local churches.
