Cobhams Emmanuel Asuquo started as a lawyer but later founded his music production company, Cobhams Asuquo Music Production (CAMP), in 2008. In 2016, he also started Vintage Gray Media Ltd. Cobhams is known for producing music for various artists, including ASA’s debut album.
He has worked with many Nigerian and international musicians, such as Maintain, Djinne, Omawumi, and Banky W. Cobhams became an ambassador for MTN Nigeria in 2015. Besides music, he has been involved in global events like the World Economic Forum and the US-Africa summit.
Cobhams collaborated with ONE Campaign on the “Poverty is Sexist” campaign anthem called “Strong Girl,” featuring African female artists. He also produced a remix of “Strong Girl” with Bono and participated in the UN Global Goals campaign.
