Pastor Jerry Uchechukwu Eze was born in Item, Bende Local Government, Abia State, Nigeria, on August 22, 1982. Despite hailing from a modest family, he was raised by his single mother in Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria, who struggled with money. His love for preaching, pastoral work, leadership mentoring, and public speaking at conferences throughout the world grew throughout his life. 

Pastor Jerry Eze, often known as PJ, is the renowned founder and leader of the Streams of Joy International Ministries. He founded the Streams of Joy International Church in 2011, and it has since expanded to include many branches. The ministry’s headquarters are located at Kilometre 4, Ikot Ekpene Road, Umuahia, and he currently oversees a loyal congregation of more than 5,000 worshipers.

Pastor Jerry Eze received his secondary education at Ibeku High School in Umuahia, where he attended school during his formative years. At Abia State University (ABSU), he continued his education and chose to focus on history and international relations (HIR). Pastor Jerry Eze accepted the task of leading the All Saints Chapel at ABSU when he was a student there.

Pastor Jerry Eze opted to continue his studies after earning his undergraduate degree and enrolled in a Master’s program in Human Resource Management.
