Early Life and Education
Taiwo Odukoya’s educational journey commenced at Baptist Primary School in Kaduna, and he later attended St. Paul’s College (now Kufena College, Wusasa) in Zaria. In 1976, he enrolled at the University of Ibadan, earning a degree in petroleum engineering in 1981. His professional career began at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in 1982, where he served until his voluntary retirement in January 1994.
Ministry and Co-founding The Fountain of Life Church
In 1992, Pastor Taiwo, alongside his late wife Bimbo Odukoya, co-founded The Fountain of Life Church. The church’s vision was clear: to teach individuals the art of building successful relationships and leadership principles. From its inception, the church rapidly expanded, eventually becoming a network of ministries within Nigeria and abroad.

Family and Personal Losses
In 1980, Taiwo Odukoya married Bimbo Williams, marking the beginning of a blessed union that produced three children: Jimmy Odukoya, Tolu Odukoya Ijogun, and Tobi Odukoya. Tragedy struck on December 10, 2005, when Bimbo Odukoya, along with 102 others, lost her life in the Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145 crash. Undeterred by the loss, Taiwo Odukoya remarried on January 5, 2010, to Rosemary Simangele Zulu, and the union brought forth two sons: Jomiloju and Timileyin.
In November 2021, another wave of sorrow hit Pastor Taiwo as he lost his second wife to cancer. Pastor (Mrs.) Nomthi Odukoya, an educationist, life coach, and writer, left a legacy of empowering women and advocating for the wellbeing of children.

Legacy and Succession
Pastor Taiwo Odukoya passed away on August 7, 2023, in the United States at the age of 67. Following his demise, his two eldest children, Jimmy and Tolu, took on leadership roles as the Senior Pastor and Associate Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, continuing the legacy of their father.
