Tim Godfrey with full name Timothy Chukwudi Godfrey is a renowned Nigerian gospel singer, best known for his hit song “Nara,” a collaboration with Travis Greene. He is not only a singer but also the founder and owner of the record label Rox Nation and the creator of Xtreme Crew.

Early Life and Career Beginnings

Born on August 26, 1980, in Kaduna, Nigeria, to Mr. and Mrs. Victor Godfrey, he is the second of six children in his family. Tim Godfrey received his primary education in Kaduna, despite his Abia State roots. Notably, in 2018, he was honored with a Doctorate degree in Fine Art and Musicology from the Trinity International University of Ambassadors in Georgia, USA.

Career

Tim Godfrey is widely recognized as the organizer of the annual Fearless Gospel Concert, which has featured prominent international gospel artists like Marvin Sapp, Kirk Franklin, Travis Greene, Israel Houghton, JJ Hairston, Sammie Okposo, and others.

In 2018, he collaborated with Travis Greene to produce the breakthrough hit song “Nara,” which has garnered over 60 million views on YouTube. In 2019, Tim Godfrey teamed up with Israel Houghton for the single “Toya” and worked with JJ Hairston on the song “Onaga” from JJ Hairston’s album.
