He was not just a singer but also a music producer, a psalmist, and the CEO of Zamar Entertainment. Sammie’s musical journey began with the release of his debut album, “Unconditional Love,” in the year 2000, followed by his second album, “Addicted,” in 2004.

Throughout his career, Sammie Okposo collaborated with numerous artists in the gospel and soul music genres. Notable collaborations included songs with the popular gospel singer Marvellous Odiete on “Follow You” and American gospel singer Jonathan Nelson on “Oghene Doh.” He was a frequent performer in Africa, Europe, and North America and organized a series of concerts known as SOPP (Sammie Okposo Praise Party). In 2018, he released his most recent album, “The Statement,” which was produced by Grammy-winning artist Kevin Bond.

Initially deactivating his social media accounts, he later restored them. Sadly, Sammie Okposo passed away on November 25, 2022, at the age of 51.
